Joe's Jeans x South Moon Under: DIY Denim Party Recap

Ahhhh, I'm so excited to tell you guys all about Joe's Jeans x South Moon Under's DIY Denim Party. If you're following me on instagram or snapchat (if you're not, you totally should BTW, ha), you probably already saw some fun behind-the-scenes shots.  I typically work ridiculously long hours on Saturdays, but I got off work early so I headed over to SMU's Towson location to get my DIY on. They had a great DJ spinning live, and their event snacks were on point!  Mini-cupcakes and apple cider? Um, I think yes!  Bonus points for the adorable straws.
As y'all can see, there were several different DIY options available for customers.  Jeans were 20% off + customization was free (!!!!)
Joe's Jeans generously gifted me denim of my choice, and (naturally) I went with a fab pair of high-waisted jeans (dark washes = my absolute fave).  You guys know how much I love visual illusions. What was that about elongating my legs?  Yep, definitely wouldn't mind that, not one bit.  Ha! Anywho, I asked Laura, their fabulous on-site designer, to paint it all up for me!  I went with pink, gold, and white.  I thought about getting stitching + rips, but I didn't want to overdo it.
Different paints!
Cool pocket stitching!
Cute patches - not really my style but adorbs nonetheless.
After Laura worked her magic on my jeans, she hung 'em up to dry, and I got my shop on at South Moon Under.  I had to wait a good half-hour or so, but time was flying because their stuff was SO freakin' cute!  I seriously wanted to buy their entire store.  If you live in the DMV and need to upgrade your wardrobe, you need to check them out STAT!
Anywho, I can't wait to show you guys my new jeans!  There should be an outfit post up soon-ish so keep an eye out.  Oh, and if this event's coming near you, GO!  There's just something really cool about owning something that's totally yours.  Plus, you'll basically be a walking piece of art!  How would YOU design yours?

I Left My Heart in San Francisco

So beyond stoked to share today's LOTD with you guys!  I took these a few weeks ago in Frisco with my good friend Danial aka @dfvbio on instagram - if you're not following him yet, you need to STAT.  He has serious skills, like I'm not playin' around when I say his account is fire.  His aesthetic is always on point, and the sh*t he does with lighting straight up blows my mind.

Anywho, I'm sure y'all know why I was in San Fran - I've been talking about it pretty much nonstop - but just in case you missed it all, I was there for an influencer event with Stitch Fix.  If you want to read about my trip, check out my recaps here: part 1 part 2
For today's OOTD, I centered my look around a fab asymmetrical dress from Dezzal.  I paired it with a sophisticated long shirt and threw on distressed boots for a fall-friendly look.  To top this off, I carried my faux-snakeskin YSL crossbody and accessorized with a statement necklace.
Other fab asymmetrical designs I LOVE:
A close-up shot of my current favorite necklace.  I've been wearing this baby non-stop for the last few months - it's definitely a must-have in my book.  In fact, I liked it SO much that I got it in gold as well - FYI, both are available at J Wholesale.  If you're looking to elevate your jewelry game, make sure y'all browse their collection STAT.  They have a huge selection so I can pretty much guarantee that you'll find something you LOVE.

My Favorite LBD

Soooo, a few months ago, I told you guys about my dream LBD find here at Last Call Neiman Marcus.  Lucky for you guys, it's still in stock and available here for $50(!!!) I really can't recommend it enough.  It literally looks good on everyone!  It must've been designed by Dumbledore or something because the draping's straight up magical.  Do yourself a serious favor and cop it while you can.  You're seriously getting it for nothing - $62 is nothing in the long run, especially if you consider cost per wear.
Anywho, I accessorized with an old silver clutch from Coach, handmade statement earrings, and fabulous bangles for a classy night out with frands. These gorgeous bracelets are part of Trollbeads' new "Falling in Love" collection - currently available for up to 35% off.  Sidebar: I'm currently hosting a giveaway for 'em.  Two lucky winners will score jewelry of their choice from their new line - to enter, click here.
